The Shape of a Mother is a blog where women “share images of our bodies during and after pregnancy so we can see what real women look like“.
I didn’t know about this site before actually. And I was surprised that the moms really wanted to share their before and after pictures. If you are considering having a baby, then you might not want to look at those pictures. Look at them afterwards and you will realize that you are not the only one!
I was really fascinated to look at the Triplet Belly post, where a mother shares time line pictures of her growing belly. And at the end the belly is really big, must have been quite heavy carrying three babies.
You can also check out the Flickr group to see some more.
What do you think about the moms sharing their before and after pictures?

I’m one of those that is constantly looking for a exercise type that I don’t get tired on and that isn’t too hard and boring. I have just tried out a new type of exercise called Tae Bo which means Total Awareness Excellence Body Obedience.
Tae Bo is an aerobic exercise routine that was developed by the tae kwon do practitioner Billy Blanks. It’s a mix of motions of martial arts, dance steps, aerobic exercises and some kick boxing. To me it looked easy at first glance but after my first exercise I noticed I was wrong. Even if I couldn’t do all the moves as good as the people in the video (you don’t have to either) I had a really fun time and I got pretty sweaty too!
I can truly recommend trying out Billy Blanks videos, he does not only show you how to strengthen your body, he also coaches you in to do what you can and continue doing so!
One of the best things was that I could do it at home without feeling that I would make a fool of myself in public by going to a real course!
Have you tried it?
